Four Stingray Swim Club Records were broken at the Cayman
National Bank Spring Sprint Meet on Saturday.
Danielle Boothe kicked things off with a new club record time of
31.47 seconds in the girls 13-14 50M Fly.
In the Senior girls 50M breaststroke, Lara Butler broke the SSC
Record, with a time of 38.37 seconds.
Two records fell in the 100IM events. First to Iain Macrae in
the boys 8 and under age group, touching in a time of 1:46.93,
followed by Coral Tomascik in the girls 11-12 category, setting a
new record time of 1:13.55
Coral's IM, Danielle's Fly and Lara's Breaststroke swims were also
Lions Pool Records. One other record was set on the day, also by
Lara Butler, when she raced to a time of 32.94 Seconds in the 50M
backstroke, breaking the old Lions Pool record of 33.31 which had
stood since 2002.
High Point Awards were dished out to those scoring the most total
points in their respective age categories. Below is a full list of

7-8 Girls – Sami Peene/Zororo Mutomba
7-8 Boys – Iain Macrae
9 -10 Girls – Stephanie Boothe
